Access to practical tools & resources to help Canadians better understand and conserve wetlands.
Description
Wildlife Habitat Canada (www.whc.org) is a national, non-profit charitable organization dedicated to building partnerships with landowners, governments, non-government organizations, and industry to conserve habitats for all wildlife in Canada. Through a unique partnership with Environment Canada and Canada Post Corporation, Wildlife Habitat Canada receives the revenues from the sale of the Canadian Wildlife Habitat Conservation Stamp, which has generated over $28 million for habitat conservation since 1984. The stamp is purchased primarily by waterfowl hunters to validate their Migratory Game Bird Hunting Permits, and is sold to stamp collectors and other Canadians. Wildlife Habitat Canada is a founding sponsor of WetKit.
- Without habitat…there is no wildlife. It’s that simple.
