Description

This guidebook helps managers, planners, and field staff comply with the Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act and to set and achieve the management objectives for riparian management areas (RMA). It provides guidance on planning and conducting operations within the RMA and fisheries- and marine-sensitive zones. Chapter 2 addresses wetland classification and establishing wetland RMA boundaries. The RMA objectives will minimize or prevent impacts of forest and range uses on wetlands. The guidebook can be viewed online or a hard copy can be obtained for a fee.
