Description
This report summarizes the results of a two year research study to test and refine a framework for community-based monitoring which informs policy making. The research describes approaches tested by twelve coordinators in 31 communities across Canada. A revised framework for multi-party community-based monitoring is described along with best practices and lessons learned. The report also discusses the nature of environmental information that informs decision making.
