This 4.5 day intensive training course has been completely updated to include material relevant to both the agricultural and the urbanizing environments of Ontario. The course is geared toward wetland restoration in the landscape and watershed context and applies existing Ontario policy and guidelines. Preservation and enhancement of wetland habitat is an important component of the overall strategy for protection of source water using a multi-barrier approach, adopted by the province of Ontario to ensure safe and plentiful drinking water.
