Canadian Biodiversity Information Facility




A facility working to improve the organization, exchange, correlation and availability of primary data on biological species of interest to Canadians. Access to data provides resources supporting a range of social and economic decisions, including efforts to conserve biodiversity in healthy ecosystems. The specific tools developed include: Species Access Canada; Integrated Taxonomic Information System; Biological Observations, Specimens and Collections Gateway; and, Species Bank.
