Description
An accelerated winter cereals program that was developed and implemented in 1999 for farmers who could not seed spring crops due to wet ground conditions in select municipalities southern Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The benefits of this incentive program included improving wildlife habitat (including waterfowl nesting success) soil conservation and weed control.
